NL–UK TechBridge: Call for Proposals on 2nd-Generation Quantum Technologies

What is NL-UK TechBridge?
NL-UK TechBridge is a bilateral cooperation program between the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, aimed at stimulating technological innovation. This specific call focuses on second-generation quantum technologies.
Focus: 2nd-Generation Quantum
The call targets the next generation of quantum technologies that have moved beyond the fundamental research phase:
- Quantum computing: Fault-tolerant quantum computers and algorithms
- Quantum communication: Secure communication networks based on quantum mechanics
- Quantum sensing: Ultra-precise sensors for medical, industrial, and scientific applications
- Quantum simulation: Simulation of complex systems for materials science and pharmaceuticals
Funding and Requirements
- Budget: €300,000 per project (NL side)
- Collaboration requirement: At least one Dutch and one British partner
- Project duration: 12-24 months
- TRL level: TRL 3-6 (from proof of concept to demonstration)
